Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Civic is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Services.
6.1 SMS / Text Messaging — Civic GoAlert
Civic Group Inc. uses SMS/text messages solely for internal operational alerting to its own employees — specifically the engineering and on-call team that operates the Civic platform. This is not consumer or marketing messaging. Eligible employees opt in by signing in to our internal GoAlert on-call application, adding their own mobile number to their profile, and confirming a one-time verification code sent to that number; adding and verifying the number is the opt-in. No message is sent to a number before that verification is complete. Enrollment is voluntary and is not required to access, use, or purchase any Civic Group Inc. service. Messages consist of one-time verification codes and operational incident/on-call alert notifications (alert name, severity, and a runbook link).Message frequency varies with on-call activity and incident volume.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply HELP for help, or STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Employees may also opt out by removing the contact method within the application, which immediately stops all messages to that number.

Mobile opt-in information and SMS consent are used only for this internal alerting and are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for any purpose, including marketing or promotional purposes.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for any reason, including if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your rights to use the Services will cease immediately.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
